XYLAN 1014

How we deliver:

XYLAN 1014

Xylan 1014 is a resin-bonded, dry-film lubricant formulated with a higher content of bonding resins. This creates finishes that are super hard, highly abrasion-resistant, extremely glossy, and less porous. Its frictional properties remain low and highly predictable, making it ideal for precision applications.

Operating Temperature Range:

  • Continuous: –195°C (–320°F) to 260°C (500°F)

  • Intermittent: –195°C (–320°F) to 285°C (545°F)

Key Properties of Xylan 1014

  • Thermoset
  • High resistance to temperature
  • Low COF
  • Resistant to wear and abrasion
  • Dry film lubricant
  • Resistant to high temperatures

Applications of Xylan 1014

It is used on any mating surface that needs lubrication, for example, fasteners, hinge pins. Compressors, piston casing, etc.
