XYLAN PTFE 1052
Xylan PTFE 1052 is a resin-bonded, dry-film lubricant designed for low-speed, high-pressure wear applications. Engineered for durability, it delivers long-term lubrication on bearing surfaces exposed to extreme pressures—up to 150,000 psi.
Formulated with a dual-lubrication system combining PTFE and MoS₂, Xylan 1052 outperforms traditional moly greases that wash away and PTFE coatings that tend to cold-flow. Its resin-bonded structure ensures stability and reliable performance, even in harsh chemical environments.
Xylan PTFE 1052 offers a broad operating temperature range:
Continuous service: –195°C (–320°F) to 260°C (500°F)
Intermittent service: –195°C (–320°F) to 285°C (545°F)
Key Properties of XYLAN PTFE 1052
High wear and abrasion resistance
Exceptional high-temperature stability
High load-carrying capacity
Thermoset formulation for long-term durability
Controlled torque performance
Low coefficient of friction (COF)
Corrosion resistant
Applications of XYLAN PTFE 1052
Protects mating surfaces under extreme loads, commonly used in bearings, valve springs, and sealing rings
Widely applied on threaded fasteners to enhance performance and longevity
