Hardened beveled washers are manufactured in accordance with ASTM F436 specifications. These washers are primarily used with American Standard beams and channels in structural applications to compensate for the lack of parallelism between surfaces.
For applications involving low carbon steel bolts, it is recommended to use malleable beveled washers instead of hardened beveled washers to ensure proper seating and performance.
