XYLAN PTFE 1070
Xylan 1070 is an organic solvent–based, high-corrosion-resistant, low-friction coating specifically engineered for fasteners. It is typically applied as a topcoat, serving as a protective barrier when used over electro-zinc, phosphate, or other primer treatments, ensuring strong adhesion and long-lasting performance.
Properties of Xylan 1070
- Xylan 1070 coatings are available in a variety of colors and are formulated as composite materials.
- They are created by combining low–coefficient-of-friction lubricants with high–temperature-resistant organic polymers. This blend forms plastic alloys that deliver exceptional performance characteristics.
- Xylan 1070 can operate continuously between –195ºC and 260ºC and can withstand temperatures up to –195ºC and 285ºC for intermittent use.
7 Eleven ASACS can supply you with high quality Xylan 1424, Xylan1425, Xylan 1070, Xylan 1427, Xylan1014, Xylan 5230, Xylan 1010, Xylar 2, and Xylan 1052 coating on hex nuts, hex bolts, stud bolts, and so on.
PTFE Coated Hex Nuts
PTFE (Polytetrafluoroethylene) coatings—often referred to as PTFE Teflon coatings—are high-temperature, non-stick fluoropolymer coatings known for their exceptional performance. Their unique properties make them one of the most widely used industrial coating solutions.
PTFE coatings offer a high operating temperature of up to 500°F, coupled with an extremely low coefficient of friction, excellent chemical resistance, and strong abrasion resistance. Because they are non-reactive, PTFE coatings are ideal for applications that require protection against corrosive, volatile, or aggressive chemical environments.
At 7 Eleven ASACS, we primarily apply PTFE coatings to stud bolts using premium Xylan® systems, including Xylan 1070 and Xylan 1424, ensuring outstanding durability and long-term performance.
