Threaded rebar is used as an alternative anchoring system to secure structural steel, sign structures, wind towers, and various other foundation applications. The most commonly used material for these rods is ASTM A615 Grade 75 rebar, manufactured with a minimum yield strength of 75 ksi.
These products are also referred to as jumbo rebar and are typically available in two standard sizes: #18J (2-1/4″ diameter) and #14J (1-3/4″ diameter).
